Felipe E. Diez

Mr. Diez has handled thousands of lawsuits for both plaintiffs and defendants and has accrued significant trial experience, having personally litigated dozens of trials to verdict both in the County Courts and in the Circuit Courts of the State of Florida. Mr. Diez has also litigated insurance coverage, personal injury, and civil rights lawsuits in Federal Court. 

Although his primary focus has been in the area of insurance coverage litigation (auto, property/home, health, life), Mr. Diez also handles wrongful death claims, personal injury claims (auto, motorcycle, boat, cruise ship, aviation, slip & fall) and other civil litigation matters. Prior to focusing on the representation of plaintiffs in the year 2015, Mr. Diez represented a number of automobile insurers and/or their policyholders for 12 years.

Because of his significant experience representing “both sides of the fence,” many plaintiff lawyers throughout Florida routinely refer their clients to Mr. Diez when they need assistance with an insurance coverage dispute. Mr. Diez also serves as an expert witness for other lawyers in the South Florida legal community on their claims for attorney’s fees.

Mr. Diez was selected to the Super Lawyers Rising Stars in Florida for the years 2012 and 2013, to Super Lawyers for the years 2022 through 2025 and is a member of the Million Dollar and Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum. Membership in the Million Dollar and Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum is limited to attorneys who have won million and multi-million dollar verdicts, awards, and settlements — less than 1% of U.S. lawyers are members.
